The fire was promptly extinguished inside the pitch cabinet and did not spread outside the cabinet. After final inspection, it was found that the pitch motor circuit breaker was damaged due to lightning strikes, and some equipment inside the pitch cabinet was damaged. The equipment outside the pitch cabinet was not affected. The black substance on the equipment inside the cabinet was caused by smoke during a fire, and the actual equipment was not damaged much.

This accident is also the first successful case in the history of the wind power industry where a fire broke out inside a wind power cabinet and was safely extinguished. The successful extinguishing of the fire in this accident has won unanimous recognition from customers and Thai owners.
