On February 22nd, the 13 MW typhoon resistant offshore wind turbine, independently developed by China Eastern Electric Group Co., Ltd. and possessing complete independent intellectual property rights, was successfully launched in the Three Gorges Offshore Wind Power Industrial Park in Fujian Province. This is currently the largest single unit capacity and largest impeller diameter wind turbine in Asia that has been offline in China, and also the first 13 MW wind turbine to be offline in China.

In the external promotion of the 13MW prototype unit of Dongfang Wind Power, the fire protection system selected products from Yu'an Fengtai, and related promotional materials were reported by mainstream media such as CCTV News.
